How do you suggest navigating networking in a new city in a virtual environment other than zoom?

What are your best tips for that COLD email pitch? My students are always asking for tips on how to write an effective one.

Can it get complicated if your co-workers become your close friends? If so, how do you navigate that?

Great advice from Julia and Kyle. If it’s any reassurance, you should know that we have graduates in most major cities all over the country—New York. LA, Boston, Philly, Atlanta, Chicago—and they have made it work. Some are working in Europe and one is working in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

What are some ways to network online during the pandemic that might seem equally as meaningful as scheduling face to face meetings such as grabbing coffee, which feels more intimate?

How do we stand out virtually (Linked-In connections, social media reach outs, etc.) from all of these other "virtual people" who are also trying to build a network?

When you moved for your first post-graduate job, did your company help financially with the move? How did that work for you?

Where do students find out about those organizational communities?
